Drop-In Knitting/Crochet Class

This class is for anyone who needs help with a current project, starting a new project, learning to knit/crochet, or just wants some social knitting time. Class is held: Thursdays, 2-4pm

CoolHempPonchette Cool Hemp Ponchette

This lightweight spring/summer poncho is knit with a beautiful hemp/linen yarn. The yarn feels very stiff at first, but the more you work with it, wash it, and wear it, the softer it becomes. This is a two night class with a couple of weeks in between to allow you to complete the homework. Class is held: Mondays, June 6 & 27, 6-8pm

Knitting 101: Pattern Reading

There is no knitting in this one night class. We will cover common knitting abbreviations and how to demystify pattern verbiage. There will be handouts provided. Feel free to bring a pattern or two that you are having difficulty reading for us to go over in class. Class is held: Monday, June 13, 6-8pm

Knitting 101: The Secret of Gauge

Do you have problems achieving gauge? Not sure if you are measuring your gauge correctly? Do you just give up on a pattern if you can’t get gauge? These and many other topics related to gauge (i.e. yarn substitution) will be covered in this one night class. There is no knitting in this class. Please bring a pen or pencil to take notes and a calculator. Class is held: Monday, June 20, 6-8pm



Kumihimo is the Japanese art of braiding. This technique is quick and easy to learn and is great for those of us who like instant gratification. Finished braids can be made into bracelets, necklaces, keychains, lanyards or even embellishments for your knitting projects. The possibilities are endless! Please sign up by June 17 so that we can make sure we have the materials in time for class. Class is held: Monday, July 11, 6-8pm

Band Heel for Socks

In this class we will learn how to construct the band heel. In the first class we will cast on and begin working the sock. The second class will cover how to knit the band heel as well as provide instructions for inserting the band heel into other sock patterns. Class is held: Mondays, July 18 & 25, 6-8pm
